Ford Cougar

Expected you to say £1k, £575 is a great price.

It is a great price :) Few bits need sorting hence the price but its all cosmetic and cheap to do.

25mpg isn't bad for an older V6 if that's a mixture of around town and short motorway stints. If you take it for a long run you should see an easy 30, try running some cleaner through it too as you've said, can't hurt for £20.

It's not too bad, I only work 5 miles away so its not going to give me high MPG due to the short trip, so its good tbh I am more than impressed. I will try some cleaner in the tank maybe it will get rid of some crud from the engine and tank been an old car, it was stood for 4 months prior to me buying it so I think it should help gain some MPG and maybe a bit more lost power?

Always liked the look of these, similar shape to the 406 coupe

It does look like the 406, but with out French electrical problems :D The car is solid, everyting works! Bonus..

Fantastic buy, however you can't really say that it is £575.00 since it needs at least that amount again spent on it.

Even taking that into consideration, still a great buy/project.
