Ford Focus styling help

I think they look good, the ones with the clear front repeater look better than the ones in that pic though.

Not sure about the ebay ones tbh, i think they could look different in the flesh than they do in them pics.

EDIT:

Are they similar to these?.

They are Mark, if that is streets car he will of had to cut the light units up to put the clear reflector in, something which I don't fancy doing with a £100 pair of lamps

Ahh right, i thought you could get them with clear also. They still look good and better than standard lights IMO.

On the other hand i think your car looks fine as it is. Especially if your thinking of getting a new car sometime soon. Might be worth sticking that cash into a savings account or something?.

Does anyone know if there are any similar lights available for the MK1 Focus?.

You are right Mark, but the thing is I can more than likely get the cash back on the ST lights pretty much as they will sell for nearly as much as I paid.

Thats a good point actually, even things like the exhaust trim can fetch a decent amount on ebay.

Is it an easy job replacing the front lights?.

Halo lights look good only on BMWs. On any other car they look tacky and chavvy, in the same way that Lexus lights on anything other than a Lexus look awful.

Don't do it.

I have recently ordered myself a set of Ultra Performance Halo Projectors, the ones on my ST170 are suffering from condensation, so time for a change, going to be fitting them this weekend, hope they fit ok.

I dont think the above look tacky or chavvy, why should the design be limited to bmw's ?

i like them, i think they will suit your focus nicely!

Because the angel eyes look good on the aggressive, wide front end of a Beemer. The car is designed from the ground up with the lights in mind and it works. Same for the Lexus and it's clear lights.

I say they look pretty tacky because the moment I see one, it makes me think that the person who added them has very little idea about the aesthetics of the car and just added them in because they look nice on BMWs so they assume it will look the same on the Focus and so have strapped them in without a second thought.

Maybe you can sell me your ST170 lights then ;).

Indeed.

When you get them changed, make sure you drop into a garage to get them aligned properly. I just replaced one of the headlight clusters on my Focus and it was misaligned but the local garage aligned them for free as it takes minutes only on the Focus. Not all places are the same though, some will charge, but it shouldn't be expensive.

I would if they were any good, but the current ford fitted ones are suffering from condensation, so doubt anyone would want them.

My brother is a Mechanic & MOT Tester, so i have no worries in getting them aligned for free ;)

Most Focus lights suffer from condensation even my current ones do, if there is no holes in the unit and the dust panel is fully secured they should be fine.

Maybe you could sell me them cheapish and see how I get on, would save me a fair bit ;).
