Ford Focus styling help

Well I got round to getting some pics of mine to post up, a little bit dirty as I haven't had a chance to wash it since last Thursday!

Can't really make out the front grill in that pic..

Just need to replace the other mudflap thats missing and fit my ST fogs hopefully tomorrow! Then get the side strips colour coded an I'm happy.. :)
 
Wow i really like them alloys :cool:. I see you have even de-tangoed the front lights?, or are those the smoked lights?.

Have you tried photo-shopping the side strips?, they go with all the rest of the black stuff pretty well.

My silver bulbs came today, so i can finally get rid of those orange bulbs \o/. I also got some blue side light bulbs free, wtf good are these?, are they even legal?.

If they're the Philips Blue "Xenon" Ones they shoot out a white light with the slightest tint of blue. Not illegal as far as I know, got the E mark etc.

Here are my sidelights on in the dark with the Philips Blue "Xenon" Bulbs, they are much stronger than the previous.

Another accessory worth buying is the Sonus ultimate shine detailing kit :D took me all day to clean it though!

They're the ST170 lights so smoked as standard, but they have also been de tangoed, bought them off the bay, £60 for the pair! Was a bargain.. :)

Haven't tried photoshopping.. I have no skills with that program what so ever! :(
 
Put my ST grill on today, all went well apart from discovering one of the wind shields at the side of the rad has snapped.

Either already snapped or happened when I yanked the old Grill off :(

Means I'll have to faff about finding the part number and sorting this out now. *Sigh*
 
Got my new fogs fitted and replaced my missing mudflap..

All thats left now is the colour coding and shes done! :D

Much better, best colour too! :D .

Did you have much trouble getting the old fogs out, or did you attack them with a flat head screw driver?

My next things to get is a new stone guard as mine has warped :( ,ST lower grill and a piper 4-2-1 manifold + Piper stage 2 cams, gonna wait 'till after mot time for that though..

No trouble at all.. Snapped one of the old bezels and one of the clips but apart from that they came out easy!

Am debating which bits to get colour coded.. I know I want all the strips done, but not sure about the door handles and the fog bezels..
 
From what I've seen on FFOC the door handles will look odd imo black if the rest has been colour coded,like they are left out. But the fog bezels look okey silver/black :) or grey as compared to the rub strips.

I'd literally just washed it before taking the photos! I try to wash it every week but the amount of miles I do and the weather at the moment doesn't help..

Those RS steering wheels are very nice, was looking at one last week.. Its a shame I'm so poor otherwise I'd already have one!

Yeh I've been thinking that about the door handles, seen a few pics on FFOC and it looks good all colour coded.. Think I might do them all apart from the fog bezels! :)

Couple of bolts IIRC, the cost comes with getting it painted.

/edit - I've seen on Ford Parts UK the door lock covers (from rear doors), neat idea to tidy up the front door handles if you don't use the locks!

I've got the ST spoiler on mine.. Its a good spoiler, not over the top and does the job. Think I paid like £90 for the spoiler, but ended up paying about £100 for that and my front grill surround to get sprayed and fitted..

Its not the part that costs the money, its the spraying! :(

How easy is it to fit? Did you take it to ford to get it fitted?
