Just ran insurance quotes now that 2015 GT Mustang is listed, using Gocompare Sainbury's coming back cheapest at £289, valued at £35,000, upto 10,000 miles per annum, work/home usage and a £500 excess.
Adding exhaust and suspension modifications adds £75.
Am sure closer to the time I will be able to get a full declared policy for around £300, so a very nice surprise nearly half the price of the 911.![]()
Sounds like you're paying too much for the 911![]()
I think £580 with track cover is a good price.
I am confident the Mustang will be sub £300 with mods declared and track cover, a nice surprise as I was expecting more like £600-£800.![]()
Mustang is cheaper and i'm sure the amount of Porsches that have ended up in barriers or wreckless/high speed crashes will be quite high.
Not saying anything about your driving, but they're a popular "exotic-ish" fast car, and parts are silly expensive![]()
Yeah if Mustangs start hitting trees backwards or ending on their roofs in fields, the nice cheap policies won't last long.![]()
Which to be fair, you can see it happening!! You could gauge this by taking corners with and without traction control on, see how tail happy it really is![]()
I'm in Palo Alto at the moment and have a Mustang hire car for the next two weeks, definitely makes the daily commute to work a bit more enjoyable. Not too sure about the automatic transmission though, the box on my 530D is much smoother.
The profile reminds me of an older Aston Martin at first glance. Dont especially like that colour but depends on the lighting no doubt
