Did a quick search and couldn't find any recent threads on foreign film recommendations.

Any interest in non-English films from the fellow overclockers?

I've got some recommendations off the top of my head and in no particular order:
Infernal Affairs (2002) - Hong Kong
Amores Perros (2000) - Mexico
New World (2013) - Korea
Life Is Beautiful (1997) - Italy
Pan's Labyrinth (2006) - Spain
Ip Man (2008) - Hong Kong
Oldboy (2003) - Korea

Micmacs ( 2009 ) - French, Dir Jean Pierre Jeunet
Amelie ( 2001 ) - French, Dir Jean Pierre Jeunet
Delicatessen ( 1991 ) - French, Dir Jean Pierre Jeunet
The city of lost children/La cite des enfants perdus ( 1995 ) - French, Dir Jean Pierre Jeunet
The extraordinary adventures of Adele Blanc Sec ( 2010 ) - French, Dir Luc Besson
The visitors/Les visiteurs ( 1993 ) - French, Dir Jean Marie Poire

Plenty of good films mentioned.

I would add:

The Hunt (Norwegian)
Headhunters (Norwegian)
A Hijacking (Danish)
Wild Tales (Argentinian)
The Idiots (Danish) this one is a real WTF did I just watch!

Itchi the killer - over the top violent Japanese film. The old flatmate couldn't make it past the DVD menu.
Sonatine is worth a look, Yakusa.
If you like vampire movies - Blood (japanese) is fun (sort of a B movie).
According to the wife (french), half of the Amelie movie is lost in translation of the english soundtrack - there's so many plays on words etc in the french soundtrack.
Pans labyrinth is great, also devils backbone from del Torro is worth a look.
Lives of Others is an outstanding film.
Das Boot - full length, with german soundtrack subtitled is stunning.
City of God is superb too.
Kungfu Hustle - I love this. Just as it should be.
Seven Samurai - black and white, slow pace at the start but give it time. Superb.
Drunken Master - yes it's a corny point but the set scenes are great. Jackie Chan.
Om Bak - also from a fight sequence POV is superb.

Le dobermann - french Vincent Cassel being brutal but only outdone by the pychotic cop! Good for a blast with a beer.
