Forum Colour

I swear this black theme is different to when it was first announced, because i changed back then but went back to blue. But i think i'll be sticking with this grey theme from now on.
Only problem being it seems to flash the blue one for a millisecond each new page before turning to black.

I like the deviantart one... except for typing in quickreply.. white on white practically! Maybe without the deviantart character on every post as well.

Finally decided to try this darker theme out.

I'm not going back to that blue. Had it since 2003. Once you go black...

just installed the black theme looks cool, but not sure i like change :D

Keep it for a week and then go back, you'll stick with black :p

As Fubsy said...:

Are you using greasemonkey or stylish? Try it with stylish if you're on Firefox and see if it still happens.

I'm not a fan of the black theme. I've always like OcUK for it's ( unique? ) blue theme. Please keep it!

( Having said that, I can't get the black theme to work. Using Opera 9.6 ) :(

I prefer the black theme but i'm stuck using the Blue as i use Safari on XP :(

Damn it

I do have firefox on this machine, but i prefer Safari and i'm changing just so that OCUk can look all pretty :p

Visit this: http://userstyles.org/styles/10304
Click the "load as user script button"
When the script loads (as text), from the menu do save as and put it at c:\path\to\directory
Then right click on an OcUK page when opened in the browser and go to "edit site preferences". Go to the scripting tab, and in the "user javascript directory" box, point it to the directory you saved that .js file in. Hit ok, then refresh the page!

I use black text on a white background at work. Draws much less attention than lairy colours.

Just a shame the sigs are still there, there used to be a tag in the code I could grab hold of to make sig images invisible in my own template without having to actually turn off sigs (which meant I could still see sig text at work and full sigs at home) but it was removed during an upgrade a while back :(

Surprised that many people are surprised by the dark ocuk theme mod since it’s been posted about in lots of thread over the past few months!
