Forum Design

My main issue with the design is that we're still using the fappin' old logo. Which I complain about at every opportunity. Also the blue of the forum is a bit wtf, doesn't match anything else but it's fairly distinctive I guess.
 
As designs go it’s one of the best out here. It’s simple and very pleasing to the eye. I give it top marks.
 
I cannot stand forums without sig limitations, I actually actively avoid them, I hate it when someone's post consists of "+1" then I have to scroll through 50 lines of text and 2 1024x768 images in their sig
 
It's fine, basic, non-offensive.

Neither the forum or the shop site are very current but they are basic and they are fine for what they do.

Personal preference I guess, but how is it clutter?

All the avatars are greyscale and the same dimensions, and all signatures have a maximum size limit of 400px x 75px.

But yeah personally, after 6 years of being here I really can't say I've found a site that just "works" as well as OcUK's forum.

Same here. It has a nice colour scheme and is uncluttered.

Also, as has already been said, the avatar restrictions and sig limitations make the forum look very clean.
 
The blue background with white writing is very nice. The blue colour is especially cool on the eyes. Easy to read in white writing. May be you spent so much time reading black on white background that you are having a little difficulty adjusting to the blue layout. Give a little time and you will get used to it.;)
 
I have no issues with it :) Its all has a slightly web 1.0 look, but that doesn't matter.
