*** Forum Update - Official Issues Thread - Please check the OP for known issues ***

I'm on mobile right now, and I can't see # of posts. Have to physically click their profile for a pop up, dunno if this is same for anyone else?

It's horrible once you log in. Everything is squished into single letters vertically down the middle of the page. Having to scroll two miles down.

On desktop, tablet or phone. Once you log out, everything is fine.

I am however loving the push notifications.

Is there meant to be sub forums showing on the menu list when you click the three lines top left of your phone? Or just 'forums' would be nice to have the subs in there for fast navigation.

I don't know if it's the forum software or the host, but I'm noticing images are slower to load. For example when scrolling down this thread, I can see some avatars and images load as I scroll.

It'll be slower initially as everything needs to cache both server side and locally for you, plus traffic has gone up a lot!

That's probably initial caching on your machine, plus the added load of a load of other initial caching being done as people realise it's back. I imagine it'll go away shortly :)

Also the last edited is on the right now, iirc it was on the left before, not sure how much I like that....
It isn't blatantly obvious when a message is edited anymore, just my observation.

No, forum categories aren't supposed to be in the menu

Thanks both, I did wonder if that was the case. But I felt it should be pointed out, just in case it was a sign of trouble ahead for the servers.

bah, beat me to it :D
:D

Forum Alerts formatting

The formatting on the Alerts feature make the alert details hard to distinguish and pick out relevant info.

E.g. the thread title is hard to pick out from other text. The Poster's forum name, followed by the generic text 'started a thread', as well as the thread title are all in the same font/format (I believe the poster was bolded and perhaps the thread title was too but cant recall exactly what combo)
Thread title is also followed by an unnecessary generic text "There may be more posts after this", also in same font as rest of alert info.
