So do you think the update is definitely for gfx fixes when you first play the game ?? that seems to be what people with the full game are saying but as yet no official word .

I've had the game since Friday, I got the LE verson off a guy over at AV forums who got a few copys of the game from some where, its is indeed true that when you load the game for the first time it applys an update and the game does look better you can tell 2x AA is on and the lighting now looks amazing which is what people are guessing the patch does.

I thought the lighting effects were supposed to be different depending on which environment you were racing on. How does the Mugello track compare to the demo?

This could be confirmed by someone who has it just deleting the update, then running the game and refusing the update when it starts up.

They are differnt depending on the tracks, but now everything looks really crisp and the lighting is more natural , mugello is probably the most boring track to look at maybe they showed the worse track in the demo so that people would be more impressed when they played the full game?.

The AI has impressed me I never played Forza 1 but after playing all the GT games with its on rails AI , its wow'd me when the AI pulled down the side and tryed to cut in and under break me for a bend things like that would never happen in GT or break checking on bends.

All so career progress is spot on to its not like GT where at the start you have to race around the first track 14-20 times to buy a car so you can race in the next event(s) the free cars they give you are competitive with one or two cheap upgrades even on hard.

The guy over at AV was meansizzler.

If you have any more Q's ask away I will try and answer them.

ppl are flogging the region free NTSC Asian version on a certain auction site. Tempted to order it but only if the game has English language support of course

I believe the box has some chinese and english on it and the book - manuel has both languages .

I'll try to get some if I can get my 360 up and running long enough, can't promise anything though as it's red-lighting most of the time now

There is a definate difference though, my 360 only stays alive long enough for me to play the first track (proving grounds), so I can only compare that track.

I guess if I remove the HDD it will revert back to pre-update, so I should be able to do a side by side comparison.

I don't know if any other games have used this feature before but i like the way the website is fully intergrated to the game,showing scoreboards,auctions and photos.
