I think youll find this thread was running fine before you started baiting me for a response to your sarcasim regarding live. I wont have you coming in and acussing me of something thats firstly untrue and secondly a figment of your imagination, "100 times already", what are you like.. Oh my just another one of your outspoken comments and a further moan from you...

Please remember you do nothing but criticise the game, dont even have a 360 and then expect people to take onboard some of your comments which are usually against the general opinion of others.

Want to complain about the game do it in your own thread, or someone earlier created an online playing thread to discuss this matter...
Further continuation to argue and i personally will ask the mods to close the thread, so ruin it for everyone if thats your goal.


No-one else other than yourself is trying to cause any friction...

My god all this fighting etc all because i said i hope the achievements are balanced between online and offline.

Also i never said i wasn't going to try online, i will no doubt play online, all i think is games focus all their achievements to the online aspect. The cynic in me thinks it is a clever ploy by MS to get people to subscribe to live, but it is probably just a coincidence.

The point i made of having a OcUK session or two as an invite to try and get a few of us who obviously are into the game could see what its like. It could be fun then again it might not be for everyone.

Somehow that was seen by one person at least as ramming it down your throats as you need to do it... Thats not the case at all, id also bet that the game will come like many 360 games a trial period for Live multiplayer.

If anything it makes sense...

I hope so too, me and Stellios must have spent a good hour this afternoon trying to outdo each other on GT:HD time trial, and its highly enjoyable. I do agree with mr latte in the fact that to get the upmost out of your car and to go as quick as possible the only way IMO is with the time trial mode since you will have no race wreckers or just first corner noobs ruining the race for everyone. With time trial its you, the car and outless fun :cool:
 
I recently got Trackmania and I like the way that functions online, as it has no collison detection you can set your own times but do it in a good social environment.

But of course rubbing is racing and a gentle tap in the rear can also be fun, I dont prefer one or the other I just like the variety.

lol Yeah I guess its nice owning noobs on the track, but the amount of times races have been ruined online especially with PGR3, is shocking.
 
Got some bad news....

Seems from a French article the demo will not be appearing untill the game goes gold. I think the original notice for the demo assumed the game was still on track for its original release dates.

Had this of been the case the game would have gone gold prior to the end of April. We know the date for USA is now 25th May which could well mean the game wont go gold untill upto the 2nd week of May.


Who knows and we wont untill an offical announcement is made, but i wouldnt get your hopes up for it appearing out of the blue.
 
by them waiting until the game goes gold could mean the demo will have the latest code to it, rather than it being an earlier build of the game lacking in polish somewhat?

Theres also a danish article that states the demo isnt out till 29th May, in my oppinion they're just making rumours, we may see the demo on Monday.

Compare the specs of the F40 to the Lambo please....
Shouldnt the F40 have a higher PI rating as going by the specs its slighter better yet the PI rating is quite different.


Good work gord on the confirmation for the USA date...
 
Sorry yeah the USA release date is the 29th, sorry for any confusion. I think the demo will be out either monday or tuesday ;)

You mean the S869 / S856? It's not the biggest difference, not sure how it's calculated, but the rarity of the lambo is a little higher, which could do it.
