What are those sliders on the left and right of the video?

The one on the left seems to go up when he gets tucked behind another car. The one on the right looks like some sort of G meter (im guessing).

IF YOU'VE HAD ANY DOUBTS ABOUT THIS GAME THIS VIDEO SHOULD STOP THEM DEAD!!!

For me, the most complete and entertaining video shown yet.
6 Lap race demonstrating good AI, amazing speed and a nice difference in two cars jostling for position. Grip Vs Top End Speed at Sebring, whats gonna be best?

Also check out the end of the clip for a nice replay segment.

Love it! and also the way that bump near the end that took its toll on the engine and lost him the race! :D

Couple of things I'm still not sure about from looking at the vids...

1) Are cars reflected in other cars' bodywork?

2) Do 'bits' of cars actually work i.e. I noticed on one vid the Carrera GT's spoiler didn't pop up after it should have done. I would have hoped things like this and the McMerc SLR's airbrake would actually be functional in the game.

Am I right in thinking that this happened in Need For Speed Porsche Unleashed? I'm sure it happened in one old game anyway and I wonder if that's the one.

Not sure, I know 'bits' didn't work in PGR3 or TDU either so maybe its not that easy to do? Really they should be implementing things like this, particularly on a game that is billed as more of a sim than an arcade game.

It's a feature of the car, so I guess it would be like not making the wheels move :p

NFS Porsche even had working indicators and a unique cockpit view for all the cars - and that was an arcade game :)

Anyway sorry for going off topic, just getting a bit nostalgic there for a moment :p

Its possible to do just not that important from a developer perspective, well for Turn 10. Personally id expect it more in a typical EA game. For a gamer once youve seen it do it youll go aghhh cool, want to show it to a mate and then forget all about it, right.

My friend, chances are your going to completely change the aero dynamics and go for an entirely different wings/skirts/bumpers/alloys. Also some of the Forza2 "own" designed body upgrades are racing spec allowing you to change the wing angle for more or less grip/drag.

I also really like the way you can now customise the brake calipers and even the wheel rims/allows. Got some cool paint jobs planned myself and frustrated as i want to play the game but torn by wanting to create some cars too, arrrrrgh!
