Forza 2 latest Update and Demo Discussion Thread

I made a vain attempt to get this thread more constructive a couple pages back, but was either a) ignored coz it was a rubbish post, or b) got missed amongst the other posts ;)

Here goes again:

Bearing in mind the undertone of most of the recent pages on this thread have been due to the lack of demo blah blah..... do you think having a vocal Community Manager (such as Che for Turn 10) is in some way detrimental either in terms of building up the hype for a game or for the developers reputation to be able to sucessfully test/market/release content?

If its rubbish, just say and I'll shut up ;)

I have poked my head in this thread looking for topic related discussion and every SINGLE time i come in here there is a aggravating post by you MR MEN

I'm fed up of it to the point where I think you should not enter this forum if you cannot act like a mature respectable member, cause so far your causing this thread to get full of trash.

I believe i speak on behalf of those already posting in this topic AND those who are now scared to post due to your shenanigans? :o

Now on topic: How many players is this going to be online? and can we see this in full action in the demo?

I would like to suggesst that those of us that want to use this thread to talk about the game flag whats happening here to the mods.
Hopefully if enough people report it the offenders will be removed and we can enjoy talking about forza 2 again.

I think people have been, but the RTMs don't always seem to get acted on.
 
Yeah I have RTM Jumpers so many times :)

Seriously some of you really need to relax, and not take things to heart and not assume everything said is aimed personally at you, its a forum, go outside if words on a forum really make you feel unhappy....

The irony is that people retorting back to him have broken just as many rules as Mr Men, so they deserve bans if he gets one.

This is true. Without having a MOD around here (which we havn't really since DaveyPitch, though MinstaDave did do well but was short lived unfortunately) then nothing is going to be done. OCuK really needs a new mod person in these forums to help out with the load, the fanboyism's and the general trolling which seems to happen on every thread these days. Once upon a time I came onto these forums all the time (especially the Console Games, even so I wrote a weekly review of games happening, and helped with the FAQ) but now that has diminished due to the poor state that these are currently in.

I'll send an email over to the Dons to see if something can be done because of this, seems a shame it was got to this point.

I'm going to buy this game and enjoy it. I play Forza more than I play my 360 games.

There won't be another game like it on the 360 anytime soon, and being a car and motorsport enthusiast, I'm quite happy to have it coming at all.

It's clearly in depth enough for the entusiast but shallow enough for the thrill seekers. The presentations I have watched show it all, and they're clearly a developer who are in touch with their community. They would be more so, if it wasn't for their publishers PR exercises, but we can't have everything.

Roll on the 8th of June.

PS, anyone up for a Forza time trial while we wait?
 
Got a question about pre-orders, some of them are offering a free car if you pre-order however the banner is only shown on the "normal" version and not the "Limited edition" version. Anyone know if you will get the extra car for both versions?

If I'm thinking correctly, online retailers will offer a code for a free car download thats been given to them, and in the limited box you also get extra free cars via a similar means but from the publisher.

I agree and so I used the plural Offenders :)
I was not picking anyone out as it is several members that have brought the thread to this current state. pls do not confuse my post with picking on 1 member.
