In the name of fairness that's a good idea ScarySquirrel. Will give us all a good idea of just what advantage wheels hold.
 
I am happy to co-do (is that a word?) the time trial thread, but what format is best?

Perhaps a spreadsheet which is updated each day and pasted into the thread?

I can do one now (bored at work) if I know what kind of info we need.
Im guessing it would be:

Username/Tag - Car - Track (more than 1 in demo?) - Wheel/Pad - Time

Is that all that is needed?

I can still participate, been looking forward to it, just havnt got the spare time to also do a thread on it. Im sure wheel users themselves will be eager to try the wheel and pad just to see how they get on.


Regarding my wheel etc:

Looks like tonight i could be sitting pretty with the demo :D

I'd be happy with that mate.

Let's get this decided so there's no confusion later tonight - but - I'd suggest actually starting the thread once we've seen the demo, and we know the format for the trials, so the thread data can be structured specifically around it. If that makes sense.

Such a laugh, think youll find i said "same time frame" not actually at the same time. Relax at least we know now its today.
 
Note Che said some time in the next 12 hours he will have news.

First of all that doesn't say the demo is coming out today, and second of all that was about 6 hours or so ago. So a good few hours to wait yet me thinks

Could be, Che was fairly vague.

I'd expect it out in a couple of days at most. There is a chance it's out today though.

Your right i suppose, disregard my "today" comment "coming sooner than you think" is what he said.
Hows Friday for Everyone? Really they are having a laugh with this demo but Live is going to get SO HAMMERED when it goes up.
 
Hmm not sure on today, seems theres a mod posting on the official forums who knows the date, but all he has said is 'you'll be playing it by the weekend'.

But the date is known.
