The paint job can be locked on the car or not locked, depends what the seller specifies.

if you paint a car you can lock it, so it cant be altered, I guess you can leave it unlocked so if you sold it then the buyer could wipe it clean. I think custom paint jobs will cost more than a standard car, but its probably up to the seller to set a price.

I have no issue with you mr Men, I like the debate you bring (when it's not flame baited / trolled), I have no issue with Latte either so I'm not taking sides. But can we just agree to drop this and carry on with the discussion of the game, the details of the game e.t.c

I read Lattes comments about winnings from William Hill, but took that in jest. Yes your comment could be taken and in my view was a jest of a comment but lets not start the whole thing again. He'll respond to your comment, you'll respond to his and it'll escalate.

Thats really cool, so you might get some people who are really good at doing them and will lock them so they are like one of a kind cars.

All this online stuff is what is really making me like this game. I just hope I am not rubbish at it like most car sim games. (Only ever been good in 1 car on Live for Speed)

yeah you will be amazed at the paint jobs people can do, really really amazed.

It'll also open up the road for "clans" and such, a special one of car can be created for a team of racers, so you can have team colours and decals e.t.c which should be really cool.

Haven't looking into the painting in detail but from what I've seen, you work with a number of built-in primitive shapes and images?

Is there any way to import images?

pretty much yes, but you can layer them and come up with amazing results, no you cant import images.

Was just thinking this myself, would be great if you could import them over a network or something.

isn't there similar to 30,000 different decals or such? I'm at work and can't view the video with the information on it.

Can I suggest you read back in the thread as ive always said between the launch of the update and prior to Halo 3 Beta. Todays post were i said "same time frame" is within that date so tell me how my estimate was wrong, your being a plonker again.

At least i didnt go spouting a particular date or telling people they can thank me come that date. I only discussed it as a possibility and by chance i am still right on the button.

Mr Latte like myself, originally said the demo would appear AFTER the update as it seemed to be the sensible thing for MS to do. I don't know why certain people here are trying to say otherwise as all it's back within this very thread for all to see. Trolls, such a nuisance.

if you think about it though, 30,000 decals, numerous layers, numerous colours, it all adds up to a fair few million combinations... if you can't find one which you like from that, then there is something wrong!

Some of the best single player games ive ever played I have finished in a weekend, so a whole month sounds ok to me.

Not sure how many decals they have, was quite limited in FM1 for decals though I seem to remember
