Forza 2: No AA in final version

I don't think you realize how many people are demanding AA and 60fps in this game >_> it's one of the biggest deals surrounding the game.
It isn't too much to ask for either is it.

Turn 10 have banged on about 60fps so much, anyone would think they were magicians who had achieved something miraculous... rather than it simply being par for the course (or should be) and something which the Playstation 1 was achieving in racing games about ten years ago

meh. two negatives for me and i havn't played it yet!

Incar view...

and

I would have rathered 30fps and AA

:(

ah well, forza 3 /PGR4 here we come

Not to mention that the 360 is supposed to 'give free 4xAA'.

I was going to say that - I thought this little eDRAM chip thing was supposed to do AA with no performance hit?

doubt it the 60fps took a lot of work, a patch i doubt could edit the engine enough to add it, they could mmmmaybe add one to drop it to 30fps and add AA but i'd be shocked if they could keep the 60fps and go to 4xAA

Yet not one Title has it, i was willing to forgive PGR3 cos it was a launch title and the engine may have been too far along to rebuild, but there is no excuse for this. Especially with the amount of times i read Mr Latte say 'But it has 60fps 4xAA............'

Players will have to settle for far away 2d spectators, missing anti-aliasing and last-generation blooming lightning-effects.

I just parked up at the side of the track, spectators are certainly 3d and animated, cheering me on :D
