Forza 2 - Return or not?

Anyone importing a game should be comfortable in their own mind that the game is what they need/want. I too would be angry if i was advised and that advice turned out to be wrong, but ultimately it is your decision and your finger pushing that purchase button.

Analogy: Presidents have teams of advisors, those advisors can give them poor information (intelligence) but it is ultimately the President who will get the flack as they are accountable for their subordinates and the advice that is used.
 
Looks like some people went a little over board in covering their ***** here then, and yes it was to the point of burning people for asking about region locking.

It would be nice to see them post some explainations here.(without any BS)
 
Well you know now not to trust those members.

Can the lying scum that they are be listed, curious to who these members are or if they want to explain themselves. I will also avoid their future posts or certainly at least not take anything they say as granted.

What do you want a list of?

Modded users or people who said it was region free when it isn't?

If the latter are you after people who said it from "experience" or are people passing on information from importers to be hung, drawn and quartered too?

That's just one aspect. There's a ton of other people on that thread who have screenshots of Forza, but not proved if it's genuine or pirated. Those same people need to start giving us proof now. There's one or two people who have openly admitted to piracy, they need a kick in the shins too.

Rear of box says "For use only with Xbox 360 entertainment systems with "NTSC-J" designation."

And just WHAT proof so you require because "when" I prove it, believe me, you're making a public apology for brandishing me as a liar!!
 
To have PAL on the front and ntsc-J on the back surely either you got done with a dodgy copy (reason for the recall on your disc?) or we are being done with your PS skills.

Which is it?
 
Maybe if we didn't have the silly "not allowed to admit to piracy" rule, and people in the Forza 2 thread were simply allowed to say "Yes I downloaded this game illegally" instead of trying to pretend they got it fairly just to avoid a pointless banning, we also wouldn't have gotten into this problem in the first place?

Instead of demanding 50 million screenshots of the box, the user, their web browser on OcUK, their bank statements, the outside of their houses, their address books, and their everlasting souls, what would be so bad about them just telling the truth? There's still a pretty clear line between "I downloaded this game" and "Here is a link to download this game". What harm would it actually cause?
 
Cheets, trust me when I say, ~J~ is the least likely person in the gaming section to pirate something. If he says he has bought it, believe me, he bought it.

Why is this forum filled with such doubt? It's obvious who the piraters are and people should know better than to believe them.

I genuinely think it's a case that the importers made a mistake, hence the reason 2 people on here have said they have had theirs called back/refunded.
 
Why would ~J~ make this thread that he is annoyed about being messed around with his copy, and then have to photoshop something :confused:

Some people on here.

I do remember last week a lot of members claiming 'All the japanese ones work that is how we are playing it' then when mentioned during the run up to GoW members where to prove it to a mod with a photo of the box, their forum name and OCUK in the background, many went quite.

KNiVES you can't really include taz1234 as he never said the Japanese version worked. The way i always read his post was he got some UK copies from someone earlier. Though that may not be the case, he didn't claim the Japanese copies worked.
