I am getting 35k every time I level up, and about 3500 per race. That is it. No gifted cars, no gifted credits, no bonuses, ever.

It makes the game impossible and just have to keep doing class A and below events as I can't afford to buy the car needed for the others. Just about managed to buy a standard mini at 65k to do the mini/wedge/beetle one, which I am working my way through now.

Don't stand a chance online as the lowest guy on the totem pole has an MP4-12C and the fastest car I have is a standard GTR R35.

Any reason you've not claimed your Forza Rewards?

Also 95% of my online races have been in D and C class, much more fun imo. Simply enter a hopper which is suited to the cars you have.

A block of concrete one tonne heavy powered by the wind would have better handling than that car! I keep going off track with it. It doesn't respond to the direction change I want and then when I've navigated a corner, it suddenly decides to follow the direction I wanted a few seconds earlier but it over does it and I oversteer off the track. :mad:

One thing that annoys me in this, otherwise great, game is how it penalises you on a lap. Sometimes it seems harsh, but stay on the track etc., but I am currently doing a hot hatch race at Le Mans and before I get to the first bend, and without leaving the track or hitting another car, I have an ! next to my time. I have tried 3 times and keep getting it. I can't see what i have done wrong. Grrrr.

Forza 4 was also very annoying in this regard. You'd get penalised for the smallest thing. In this case I think you've slipstreamed a car at 100mph+. Why this penalises you I don't know considering you can get "perfect drafting" elsewhere on a track.

You are either drafting someone, or one of the AI is drafting you, I've had that happen to me and it's annoying.

It's because a clean lap is based on having no corners cut or assists (and as drafting increases speed) it gives an advantage.

Why would the game penalise you if an AI car is drafting you? What advantage do you gain from that?

When it's on the first lap on a race, it is a bit silly. Even a bit of drafting won't make up for the time you'll have lost compared to 2nd laps onwards from going over the line at full speed.

In the real world, NASCAR in particular, the front car can go faster when a car is drafting it from behind; super-speedway racing is totally based on that principle. If the sim is modelling EVERYTHING, then it could certainly be considered an advantage to have a CPU car behind you.

Im pretty sure you can also receive a ! (Dirty lap) indicator if you messed up on the last sector of the PREVIOUS LAP.

That's really annoying! Apparently it's because you might have gained an advantage going into the next lap. However if you get penalised in the last sector but several corners before the next lap, i.e. you've had to brake several times, I don't see how you can gain an advantage going into the next lap. All you'd do is make the current lap a bit faster.

Surely the advantage you gain by 'cheating' in the last sector of a previous lap would be a speed advantage. How you can gain an advantage several corners before the start/finish line when you've had to brake several times before the last corner escapes me.
