Forza 5 Announced

I'm glad I didn't get forza 5 (and therefore an Xbox one too...three) based on some of the comments I've read about it on here. Are there any standout cars or tracks that are not in 4 or is a massive improvement over the 4 version?

I'm tempted to stick with 4 and just get a season pass so I can download all of the hundreds of cars.

I like it a lot, the one thing that lets it down though is the amount of tracks it has, only so many times you can race on Prague.

I liked Road America from Forza 4 and it's another good track for Forza 5. I worry that the next free track update, if there is one, will be of a track from Forza 4 that I didn't like, such as Tsukuba or the Rally di Positano. Let's have Camino Viejo, Ladera, Mugello or Twin Ring Motegi next please Turn 10 Studios. :D
 
They added new tracks, just removed some existing ones as they hadn't rescanned them yet and didn't want to click import on old FM2/3/4 assets.

New :
Bathurst
Spa
Yas Marina
Updated Silverstone
Prague

Sebring, Le Mans, Road Atlanta and Indianapolis all got rebuilt from scratch.

I'm not counting Top Gear or Bernese Alps as they're essentially fantasy tracks.

Cars? Not going there. ;)
 
Excellent. Actual track itself is as good when they were recently added to iRacing. Minor differences in trackside detail etc.

FM5 is lacking in track content, but what there is a high quality laser scanned rebuild if it's a real world track. No imports of old content.

Good news about Road America, hopefully they add a lot more tracks for free.

Suzuka or Nurburg next please...

Spa & Bathurst are both excellent tracks IMO

Brilliant. Although I do wish that Turn 10 would do for Spa what they've done with Le Mans, have an older version of the track with the proper, mid 90s, Bus Stop chicane rather than the pathetic arrangement Spa has now for the last corner.

When I heard Bathurst was coming, I was anticipating this track more than any other as I'd heard of it but never seen it. It's quite a frustrating track on which to record clean laps because it's so easy to hit a wall. :D

Monza would be a brilliant update for Forza 5.

Bathurst is ok i find, not a bad track but Spa is probably the best track on FM5 for me at the moment...absolutely love ripping it around the eau de rouge.

I absolutely destest the Sebring track and the mazda one with the corkscrew, cant remember the name at the moment. 2 tracks i loathe racing on lol.

LAGUNA SECA! One of the greatest tracks of all time! :D

Laguna seca is immense, but I have to agree with you on sebring. Last corner especially just anoys me!
