Bear in mind the Long Beach GP is on ESPN tonight at 2130 live. Coverage of the first race was pretty good as they just take the US feed. But generally worth time-shifting so you can FF through the frequent commercial breaks!

I've done the Enduro challenge twice. There's an achievement for doing 125 miles in the special lobby, I managed nearly 190 so it's easy even if you stop for a brew. There's another one for 300 miles total, so it seemed far easier to have another go in the special weekend lobby and clock up the remaining 110 miles than do umpteen 3 lap races in the hoppers.
Hardest part is finding a race, the display is glitched and says 0 seconds after the race has started. I just waited around for an hour and watched some Golf in the meantime with one ear waiting for pips from the Xbox. The one this morning was better - full lobby to start with and 8 were still running at the end.
Stock tune has massively long gears (for Indianapolis I assume) and will stall at the hairpin, I'll recommend the tune from TG Takumi if you have the #9 Target IndyCar. If you use manual with clutch then turn it off as it's paddle shift and will shift faster in manual mode, plus it stops any stalling issues when pulling away/some clown crashes into you at the hairpin.

I've done the 2hr endurance challenge twice as well, so i've done my 300 miles in an indy car on the track now for both achievements.
I had to keep quitting out of hoppers until i found one that was about to start both times. I think both races started with about 12 racers, one ended with 5 and the other with 7, everyone else quit out at some point.
Shame they didn't set it so i could see my fastest lap, that would have made it much more interesting in the long gaps between racing with others or lapping people.

Is it me or does this track look better than most of the others
It looks MUCH better imo. Also, the track seems much more narrow than other "Rings", GT etc...

If anyone is going to do the Silverstone GP Endurance race this weekend, it's a pretty easy achievement 125 miles in 1.5 hours.
I completed it earlier, managed 169 miles with one pit stop (at 125 miles), one quick drink break and one forced pit stop due to a laggy back marker with 5 minutes to go.

What achievement is this? I can't see one for this.
Is there anyway to find out the race restrictions on this? Like I bought eligible car for hot hatch tuned it up a little) okay allot
Press X on the event details usually. If it's not an F1 car I'll be very surprised.

It's modern F1.
If you open up Achievements on the console and go to Forza 5, the timed challenges that are still active are at the start. These are added after every patch, last month there was a 2.4 hours of Lemans & 2.4 hours of Nurburg among others.
