Forza Horizon 3 just shown at E3

Wow I am lucky. I got a new SSD so I did a fresh W10 install yesterday. My FH3 download failed overnight and I restarted it earlier this evening on the 53GB download. Then I saw the **** that went down and cancelled it. Now downloading the whole thing again - 51.58GB. Microsoft need to roll over and accept that Steam is PC gaming. I'm sure they could do something with Valve to keep the Xbox Live integration for Microsoft games on Steam.

That proper sucks mate ^^ there should defo be some compensation offered. Their ineptitude is staggering, bunch of *****!

for others before you update

I've reinstalled the correct version and fortunately my profile is intact after the game synced the data. Had to download over 100gb of data thanks to those planks... Still better than losing 50h of progress, though.

They really need to rethink both their pricing policy and QA. At such price, this game should be absolutely technically flawless.

Ain't there suppose to be a new car pack? I'm on the correct version, just went to have a look cause i quite fancied driving the V60 Polestar and non of the Rockstar Energy cars were there, not even listed under the DLC section????

The PC version, yet again, misses out on them until they fix their blunder from the other day.

Good job i have good internet takes around 30 mins to download 50gb so these kinda issues arn't too time crippling feel sorry for others with slower net mind.

Just noticed my client was updated today, will check the pack out iab.

[UPDATE 1/6/17 10:18 a.m. Pacific] -- The latest version of the Forza Horizon 3 PC update is now available. This version (1.0.39.2) includes the Rockstar Energy Car Pack content. Apologies to all our PC players who were eagerly awaiting this update and thank you for your continued patience.

Since the last update game always starts windowed and must be manually switched to fullscreen

also the crashes still happen randomly and are not fixed

what a god damn trainwreck, at least the game is great and runs well enough

I also get random crashes on a particular event, the framerate drops then crashes.

Didn't realize the Groove Station is only a 14 day trail!!!!! Micro$oft are really trying to milk it, and some of the prices for a car or cosmetics £5 for some smoke or £2 for a car is this turning into EA again £30 for an expansion that they haven't released yet.

MS and Activision are by far the most terrible companies when it comes to milking gamers and general behavior, yes. Ubi, EA and Squeenix are not far behind though.

Damn right, it's a very good game but the pricing is ridiculous, especially with all the technical issues it has.
It's laughable that they haven't yet resolved the crashing but they managed to introduce some stupid tokens you have to pay real money for after already charging people 80 quid for the ultimate and almost 30 quid for unreleased expansions.

And that last update was absolutely shambolic, it's broken my profile and I had to download over 100gb of data to get the game running again...

To be fair, you can turn the stupid token system fully off so you never see it. Nice and easy. The dev build sounds like a mistake on Microsofts side, not Playground Games. Can't defend the constant crashing if it is still happening though...

Yeah, I know, I'm just talking about the sole concept. Crashing still happens from time to time, at least for me.

Tried this again last night hoping it would work better with the g25 wheel, nope still plays like ****.

Never gonna be that good with a wheel, it's just not designed as that sort of game, while it could have been it wasn't. Best not to let that get in the way of what is a great game and go play it with a gamepad as it was designed for.

Yea I haven't bothered trying it with my wheel since they added support, controller is fine for driving considering it's not a proper sim
