Looks great, I loved playing the first horizon but couldn't justify a xbone for the 2nd. Hopefully it will be on steam but will buy it anyway if its not.
I would not expect 1st party AAA games to come to Steam.
But 'indies', and 3rd party games they fund(fully or partly) or publish all seem like good candidates to go to Steam.
Your probably right. But even that isn't available for Pre Order yet. You can only buy an XB1 version, or an XB1 + PC version.

Definitely getting this. I was looking at getting the new One S to replace my One but as I only got it for Forza and the odd other title, it is currently collecting dust. Going to sell that and get this for sure.
Whilst on Steam would be advantageous, how can you not upgrade to Windows 10?? The best OS by far.
Wish it was standalone or on Steam, thoughI don't plan to upgrade to W10 anytime soon nor do I want to support that stupid store of theirs.

Anyone seen any more updates on this game? Since they announced that they would be using steam in the future I am hoping this will show up on it but any news is welcome!

Think I read/heard also that this and GOW will not be framelocked to 60fps. Cant remember where though...
Question I have is with Nvidia 10 series and RX480 supporting HDR for games and video streams. What is coming or available in 21:9 monitors with full 10bit panels to support the HDR?

I just bit the bullet and preordered it. Expensive but I think I will love it so I don't mind.
Doesn't look like it to me, looks like you pre order on xbox.com and you get both X1 and PC and you can play on both systems

Yes its the UWP stuff. I don't expect it'll be available anywhere else for a while at least. It's definitely playable on Win10. That's fine by me.

Yep - thats what I think as well. I have an X1 but with this new play anywhere not really sure how much use it is to me now.
I'll 100% play Horizon 3 on PC, I just hope the performance is good. Fingers crossed.

Going by Forza Apex I see no reason it would run badly and the Forza games are insanely highly regarded, both the standard and horizon games.
I can afford it so I took the plunge.

The Play Anywhere titles sound like Xbox games that you can also play on PC. So they are both expensive, and may well require being activated on an XB1 before you get the Play Anywhere version on your Windows XBL account.
Good point, what if you need to activate on a X1 first?
