Fractal Design's Define S

I rebuilt in this case yesterday and Found 1 utterly frustrating thing that I have now noticed on some reviews, but obviously only after.....

There is ZERO clearance for right angled SATA cables, on either end, with SSDs or HDDS in any of the hidden rear bays.

Make sure you have some completely flat and if possible, very short cables when you build in it.

So now im waiting on 4 sata cables to be delivered and have a mess inside the pc with HDDs and SSDs hanging out everywhere inside the case :D

I've got the R5 in White with window, one thing i don't like about it is that it only has a 240mm filter in the front, that puts me off using my 360 radiator unlike the Define S.

Still waiting patiently for my one to ship :P

Been waiting for this case for the best part of 3 months now ..... :D hopefully good news that OCUK will get them delivered today.

Got one and can confirm its awesome. I stripped the cages on my r5 and didnt use optical drives. So this is perfect for me. Also the wall for hdd makes cable makes the case even cleaner to work in.

For me being an air user its awesome. Having the fan higher up at the front has dropped CPU temps by at least 5 degree over the R5. Cable management is nicer also due to the Harddrive wall. Both fine cases but I prefer the S over my R5.

Just ordered the Define S with window, going to be switching over from my White R5.

I'll be putting a 360 in the front and a 240 probably in the roof... will have a play about and see.

I hope they release a white version.

Anyone know if you can squeeze the 1 inch wider than normal ATX motherboards in this thing, the EVGA Z97 Classified for example?

Think this is the rad setup i'm going with, RX360 and EX240, can't quite manage 2x360 rads.

I'm using the 240mm crossflow just because it should make the tubing runs look nicer i think.

Is anyone that has this case able to confirm whether it is as tall as the fractal site says (465mm) as this case sounds like it will just manage to fit under my desk :)
