Free one year subscription to Microsoft technet

My subscription has just been removed :/
Yup, looks like the fun's over now - all the links to product keys and ISOs are greyed out, and I'm "not authorized to view" the product key list page.

Wonder what will happen to the keys that have already been issued to now-disabled accounts? I suppose they'd be easy enough to revoke?

I'd guess at them only having the ability to revoke keys for certain apps (probably the most desirable ones, though..)

I've emailed them as I'm sure others have to find out what's happening and what will happen to any software/keys obtained from this "free subscription". Rather get the info first hand than rely on speculation.

Damn, I tried downloading Office 2007 Pro, but it got to 98% and stayed there for about 15 minutes, so I cancelled so that I can start it again. Then I discovered they had stopped it. :(

Well my small number of codes for personal use are sitting in a folder next to the ISO's but I guess I'll hold off to see if it's ever going to activate or if they'll revoke the keys at a later date.

Don't believe this, I was 85% down for Vista SP2 Intergrated and I left my laptop on when I went to work and I came back to find my electricity had tripped and image was down at 98%. This sucks. I didn't even want the serial keys just the friggin ISO.

I managed to get what i needed. Shame this has been pulled down though.

Agree with the others, i also blame the greedy 300 key morons!!
