It depends on where you live. If it has to come via DPD then we up here don't get free delivery. Even when we pay we still have a crappy two day delivery service. Even on lightweight or low value items it's hit or miss for us. All since DPD took over deliveries. I really hate DPD!!
 
So today i noticed that i had reached my 100 posts today (be following the forums for years ) , i wish had done this years ago as i spent loads on shipping over the years ,, or i sometimes don't buy from here as the shipping cost puts me over my budget :( ,so im then forced to shop elsewhere that's offers free shipping .

So overclockers UK now have a customer for life and all my PC parts forever ........ yippee.

Another disgruntled aberdeen based customer here. Probably just placed my last OCUK order, as I guess it won't be my go-to shop any more, which just makes me sad.

You will get in Monday Next working day) Saturday is a premium service.

Edit: if it's small item they might use Royal Mail, then yes you may get it Saturday if you have deliverys on that day.
 
I think this is quite a savvy policy - it gets you visiting the site more as a newcomer, and keeps you coming later with the free delivery.

It's probably why OCUK have such a sizeable forum community vs competitors, which also plays into the above. Like I say, savvy!

OcUK is a great site to 'hang out'on though, with a great bunch of members... and the free delivery is an added bonus!
 
What is classed as the Highlands and Islands? Recently passed the 100 post mark and when I was looking to order a new monitor it added delivery. I live in Aberdeen which is not the Highlands and Islands however some sites I've visited previously still class us as such which is annoying.

Great bonus for active members

HI everyone - been lurking and viewing many of the posts here for a longtime and just signed up to the forum. I build all my own rigs & got X58 and Z97 at the moment and about to go for the MSI 980Ti lightning (he he).

Great bonus being able to get free shipping (once qualified) - I guess your'll see me posting a lot then (target 100 posts in 90 days!) - lol
