As a better character, Freeman wins against Mario hands down. As for the better games, Mario wins hands down. I voted for Freeman btw.

Its quite amazing two mutes have made it to the final. I would still put Snake as the best character/Hero in gaming. Anyone that goes through a human microwave and just barely makes it out alive, gets my vote.

The sad thing I am seeing over the forums is pc owners acting superior to console owners now that Freeman has won the tournament.

I can't believe how much of a big deal this has become... It's just a bit of fun!

I really really want Freeman to win, but not so much that I'm going to make post after post justifying it... :s If Freeman loses then I'll be disappointed, but you know what? I'll move on very soon after.

snake is on the PC and freeman is on the consoles too you know...

Doesn't really matter, Snake is considered to be a console game and HL is a pc game. They just got ported to other systems, thats all.
