anyone got one?
How does Freesat differ from using a Sky box without a subscription?
freesat isnt encrypted so no subscrip , you just have to buy a receiver box and a sky dish
Is FTA content on Sky encrypted?
What do you mean?freesat isnt encrypted so no subscrip , you just have to buy a receiver box and a sky dish
You don't need a subscription to receive *most* of the channels you get on Freeview/Freesat with a Sky box.well how do you get a Sky HD box without taking out a 12 month subscription to SkyHD?
1 x mini satdish with dual lnb
ring around your local installer, should be around £50+ installed
this new panny has the freesat receiver built in, its currently the only tv on the market with this feature.
if you havent got this tv then youll need a freesat hd receiver which are around £120 on the bay
By it instore? You can get it directly from Sky and just say that you dont want the HD sub just yet.
Ouch, so quite expensive then. I'll need two recievers then, yes?
How is the reception? Is it as hit and miss as freeview?

i believe the pvr function doesnt work with out subscription
You mean the Sky+ function. I think you will need a sub for that, but you dont have to take an HD sub up.
