Despite my comment earlier about Corden, I did find it surprisingly enjoyable and nostalgic. Courtney Cox really looked great back in the day, but my god, she’s ruined herself with Botox etc.
David Schwimmer and Matt Le Blanc are brilliant, felt a bit sorry for Matthew Perry with having to film after emergency dental surgery as he came across a bit weird.
Lisa Kudrow reenacting the Monica/Chandler scene was brilliant too!
The show was part of my teenage years so have fond memories and it’s still so funny at times to me.

Watched this last night, thoroughly enjoyed it, but then I've always been a fan. Wasn't sure how is feel once I found out Corden was hosting but it lacked his usual input I see on other shows/clips/whatever he does.
It's a shame only Mat and Lisa have grown old gracefully, I felt a little cringy watching the others at times

Luckily i was already invested prior to seeing Corden was involved and thankfully he played little part in the end result.

Friends being a big tv series as i was growing up it was really good to see the cast reunite with what appears a rather real and endearing reunion.

I neither like or dislike Corden but I found him a very strange fit in this reunion. Surely they could have found a better option or more era appropriate host unless he's particularly big over in US right now?

He's just as fat whichever country he's in...
I enjoyed Friends back in the day and the reruns on E4 but I liked the characters not the Actors and Actresses
So a pass from me as i'm a bloke.

No idea, I just read that was the reason. You can see his face is badly swollen with some camera angles so it would make sense. I guess they were good to go with filming and he couldn’t back out.
He looked a bit like Ross from the whitening episode too!

Plus it was made by a production company he partly owns and it was directed & produced by an ex-producer of his Late Show so it makes sense he'd host it too.

To be fair to him he has lost a shed load of weight since his Gavin and Stacey days, not everyone finds it easy to lose weight so fat shaming him is a bit shallow don't you think? I don't particually get the hate towards him, I'm neither here or there with him, he doesn't annoy me or make me not want to watch something just because he's in it.

I am indifferent as I do not know much about him. Only seen him a few times in clips where actors or singers get in the car with him and jam. But I agree he was not a good fit for this.

Oh well guess that makes sense then trying to spice this up with most popular people now, while I don't hate him as I said it just doesn't feel like a good fit for this "episode".

If they were going for full nostalgia mode, I've sure they could have picked quite a few others options but business has to prevail.

I actually don't know. I find him absolutely fine. He seems genuine with people, and willing to take the mick out of himself. I think he'd be the first to admit he's been insanely lucky to go from Gavin and Stacey to a primetime US chat show host. I don't get the hatred, it's probably just jealousy.

could be worse he could be a uk tv compere - we seem stuck with over-exposed - Walsh / Allen / Wallace / Davis , but, the Americans lap up their stereotype/Cordon of UK culture;
never seen an episode of G&T
