Fringe

Now watching the latest episode.

That's a bit more like it, nice and strange just as it should be.

Yeah, wasn't that great. I think they need to completely focus on Peter and his story tbh, everything else is filler as the other characters do not matter in the slightest

I just watched the new episode(12). Now we are getting somewhere!

I still feel that they need to get it back to the original universe and focus on that story, as it had some really well done aspects to it, and it looks like they are finally working towards it now.

It was a very good episode imo, the end was predictable, but in a good way, as in it was the ending I was hoping for(though you could see it a mile off). I have no idea where they are going to go with it though, the ending was great but I don't atm see how they are going to work it in to the overarching story.

Actually, I have to say that it could be shaping up to be quite epic. I haven't liked this season, they really should have continued as it was, but if they can progress the story in the way that teh ending of this ep indicates then they could pull it back round imo.

I have rewatched season 3 at work recently and it really is excellent! I hope they can bring it back on form

Any idea when season 4 is out on blu-ray. Sky+ decided it couldn't be bothered to record the first few episodes so missed out :(

Thanks

Am I the only one that thinks the current series isn't that great? Almost as if they want it to be cancelled by giving it poor scripts and being inconsistent.

Like randomly adding the other side when it suits? Jumping so many episodes back for reminders to that night's episode that it feels like you've missed a couple of eps?

It just seems to have lost its way.

I just think it started off a bit slow, and only now are we getting answers/movement with the main theme arc, some have just been MOTW but its only the past few episodes that the main arc has appeared in between.

At first it was pretty flat, it took like 4 episodes for Peter to return and then not a lot happened to help him out, but I guess thats changing now, especially with the RDJ character returning and the whole fake Nina & Olivia getting her memories back, not to mention the Observer episode this Friday. Glad Olivia has her memories back now, it gives credence that Peter is home. Plus as a shipper I've missed Peter/Olivia. :o

I do think he is home too, not a 3rd universe. But then again could the corefextifan drug she is using, increase her powers and make her thoughts blend with the real olivia?

Last ep was great I thought. Season 4 did start a little flatly, but I think they are bringing it back on form, the last 2 episodes have been 2 of the best imo. As I have previously said, I think it could be building up to a pretty epic conclusion to this season.

They are trying to get him back to his own Universe, but don't you think he already is back and the fact that the Watchers wiped his timeline so everyone forgot he existed yadda yadda lost my train of thought.

I have always thought that, as it is the only thing that really made sense. It will be interesting to see how they progress it now though, I mean if this is his universe then either it will stay roughly as it is which means that nothing form Season 1-3 matters at all, or it will go back to the way it was(i hope) in which case nothing that happens in this season really matters that much.

I have faith though, I think it will all work out to be pretty epic.

One thing I could see happening that I think would be great is Olivia dying(as has been predicted) but then Peter going back to his timeline, but able to save her.
