This trailed off for me too, couldn't get past the dodgy acting. Walter was ok but it was a bit overdone and the rest just got irritating after a few episodes. It has made me want to buy all the X Files seasons on dvd though!

Second season started yesterday i think, thought it was pretty good, though i did see the ending coming

- other than that cant wait for the next episode

Quite enjoy it if I am honest.

It isn't my "main fav's" of show... but it is pretty damn good watching.

I love fringe especially walter if he left I would probably not watch it as much.

I wasn't a fan of walter at the start -in fact he annoyed me. But he has grown on me somewhat.

Its carried on exactly where it left off.

She was in the Twin Towers in the other reality at the end of Season One, start of Season 2 shows her coming back though she cant remember a thing.

Ive not got bored yet and am quite enjoying it currently. The mythology is really interesting imo.

Well, not exactly then is it? The memory loss thing is a very Abrams way to keep us frusrated/guessing as to what is coming.

I really do like this show though, even if just down to Walters amazingness.

I personally think it is brilliant.

It tips its hat more than once to the X-Files.

Plus Walter Bishop is one of the most brilliant characters ever

Agreed, John Noble has done a great job with him, when you hear him speak in RL its bizarre though.

Yeah I went a bit cool on it before the break (although the final scene was a proper OMG!WTF? moment) but the episodes since have been excellent.

I think this has gotten better the longer its been on. Certain things appear to have been "dropped", for example...

In season 1/early season 2 I recall Astrid on the phone to someone while in the lab, reporting on what Walter was doing/what the team was up to and we've not seen anything about it since.

***END TINY SPOILER WARNING***

...but its still great. Looking through the episode titles for the remainder of the current season, it looks as though it will become even more interesting.
