Fringe

At least in Fringe they don't have a holodeck. Man every star trek series has at least 3-6 of them and I can't stand them.

Anyways I'm enjoying the new Fringe season, nice to see bubbles from the wire pop up as the cab driver, and of course the exploding midget head was a no brainer.

It appears as if someone has replaced 'our' Fringe with the Fringe from 'over there' much like the replacement of Olivia with Fauxlivia. However, unlike that switch the switching of the shows has been of benefit to us as what was once a good tv show has now turned into an excellent tv show. Season 3 so far has been nothing short of epic :D

I would have to agree with you, this season has just gone up a gear or 5 the acting, the story, everything is just so good and it wasn't like it was a bad series before.

And to think I stopped watching this after about episode 6 of the first season thinking it was such rubbish. Then I got nagged by friends to give it another go, with the latter half of season 2 and the start of season 3 this is easily going into my top 10 shows of all time.

I agree Fringe has turned into probably my favorite sci-fi at the moment, even though there is not much to choose from these days. Stargate-u is picking up, but it doesn't seem to have that quality of acting and characters Fringe has. I think with stargate-u, if Robert Carlyle was not in it, then I wouldn't bother watching the show.

Fringe really does have some good story lines even when they do there little one off episodes away from the main arc.

Its a shame because at one point there was a lot of good sci fi with Fringe, Battlestar, and Lost all at the same time.

Fringe has become such a series after S1. Series 1 seemed like a bit of at tester to see if the basic concept would work... the story arc this time round is stunning. Absolutely amazing stuff. Best series currently on TV by a large distance.

I've only just found out that all the glyphs that flash before and after each ad break actually spell out a different word relative to the episode every week. :( *feels dumb* :(

Anyone watch the new episode today?

Pretty good way to start the new series, looking forward to the rest of it as always.

I thought it was brilliant. All to do with consequence and cause and effect.

I still feel really sorry for Peter :(

Its not a new series just a continuation of series 3 after an extended break.

I watched the first 3 episodes of series one and thought what a pile of crap.

Seriously, it is terrible!

Should I just jump to another series or ditch the whole show based on my opinion of series one?
