Froch vs Groves

Why does everybody love Froch so much?

I think they are both idiots. The trash talk these days in boxing is just embarrassing.

I just hope both of them have got what they say they have. Should make for a good fight if true.

I actually hope Groves wins.
However I do respect what Froch has achieved. He has ducked no-one in his career and always looked to make the big fights. He's been prepared to go away from home to get matches and isn't scared of a tear up. I don't rate him in the same technical class as Calzaghe but at least he kept himself busy and hasnt looked to duck anyone. Calzaghe record might be unblemished but he had some right stinkers of fights where he barely threw a combination (often due to a broken hand).
I am not sure how strong Groves chin is but the beauty of this fight is that I don't think its easy to call. Groves has proven he has the strength to hurt Froch and that seed of doubt will be planted regardless of all the trash talk.
The fight is arguably going to be the biggest in British boxing history which I don't feel it deserves but that says a lot about the quality of fights be made these days and the plethora of championship belts available.

Difficult one to decide who I want win, Being from Notts I have always cheered Frock on but after he was such a **** in the post fight interview and, to a lesser extent, the Wembley pitch stuff it's hard to like him

Frochs personality isn't normally like this though, Groves just rubbed him up the wrong way.

When you look at when he fought Mikkel Kessler last year it was just superb sportsmanship and how it should be.

Big fights, big arenas is what boxing is about. Always a good buzz.. Hope its another great fight, not gona say who will win this time although i hope its froch again. Froch was winning the last fight in the last rounds before the silly stoppage, ye he got destroyed early but i think he would have put groves down if it hadnt of been stopped if you watch it back. But you never know groves showed he has the power to clean froch out if caught right! cant wait!

Yeah i didn't really like how Froch was with Groves pre and post the last fight although i still think he will take it. Although i don't think it will b a quick fight either.

Question : If i buy this myself, does Box office work on sky go?

Did you watch The gloves are off with Froch and Groves recently?

It's on youtube, but I thought Froch was quite pleasant really, with Groves just being a bit of a ****. Especially at the end, but not sure if that was put on for the cameras or not.

I never understand why it's Froch who always seems to get criticism for being a ****. Groves is just as bad if not worse, the worst thing about him is he is incapable of stringing any kind of insult together, he just stutters or sits there with that duhhhhh expression on his face. Hope Froch KO's him.

Most of it seems to be an act anyway, it's all just to pull the money in they'll be mates again a few months after the fight.

Just watched this now. I thought Froch came across very well. Kind of to the point of Groves making himself look thick. I think its his game plan to be so calm to the point of condescending that wound Groves up so much.

Do they always do this style of interviews for boxing? Not into boxing like i am MMA and have to say, i enjoyed the high awkwardness of it all.

Formula 1 and Football fan myself, not really into Boxing but I absolutely love a hyped boxing match such as this with sell out stadiums and plenty of smack talking from both opponents, gets me proper excited for it !

Watched the interviews yesterday and am definitely on team froch. Groves comes across as a bit of a twerp! Also Froch is from the East Midlands isn't he ? (more reason to support him).

The missus is looking forward to it as well and she's not really into boxing like myself, can't wait :D
