Interesting responses, haven't done anything by the way. But it is amusing to see the many replies about how its wrong to grass someone up for committing fraud, yet when someone posts on here saying they've fronted...
So if say the parent is the registered keeper of the vehicle and the main name on the insurance, with the kid as named driver, but the kid drives the vehicle the majority of the time. It would be almost impossible for an insurance company not to pay out on an accident on the basis of fronting.
I did this for about 5 years between 19 - 24 and had no problem making a claim, 2nd time we paid out for the damage as the excess was higher.
