Picked this game up today and am loving it. Took me ages to complete the third mission where you have to escort that lady out of the building. There was always some assault rifle guy right at the end who went in a direction I didn't expect and managed to shoot her.
 
Really good game for the price, had a lot of fun playing mates at this and since the Steam launch theres been an explosion in terms of player numbers.
 
Just played my first versus game and i'm pretty confused. Dark Extermination, kill the opponents units, keep your own alive, it says in the help. I'm losing, have one unit left and the game declares my opponent as the winner. BUT I still have a unit to play with.

I must be missing something, why give the other guy the win when I have units alive. I'd have lost anyway but thats not the point :(

Loving the game but hate when stuff like this happens :rolleyes:

You must have reached the turn limit. I drew my first game as my friend and I ended up with only a rocket unit each and most of the walls destroyed.

whats the point in them giving you a second copy to give away if ...

you don't give it away ?? Seems a perfectly reasonable request to me.
 
Edit - Free copy now gone.

Personally, I don't much like this game. Found even the tutorial absurdly complicated. I'll try again another time, but its looking like it was a bit of a bust for me.

This is actually very good. I'm on single-player exclusively and the AI is diabolically clever. At this point I don't know whether it's cheating or not.

It's quite a mixture, game mechanichs are a lot like Jagged Alliance, They Stole A Million, and Battle Chess with the opponents making their move simultaneously. The graphics remind me a lot of Defcon and Uplink.

I'm always intto randomly generated levels, and this game deliveres there as well.

I can well imagine this not to be for everyone though.
 
I started the single-player, but have become hooked on having 5+ multiplayer games going at once.
Just had a game where i had a grenadier and he had a rocket guy left, very funny. :)
 
Just got the game downloaded, anyone want a multiplayer game with a total noob straight away? Nieldo is my ID.
