Yeah. I was on 5 at the time. I had a pretty damn nice setup too :(

Oh well, I've done enough real work now...back to FTL :D
 
Really loving the engi ship, its a very different way of playing compared to the kestral, pretty much have to rely on the drone at the start to actually kill stuff :p
 
Beta key was waiting for me when I got home from work yesterday. Gotta say this game is gonna be an awesome little timewaster, from what I've seen thus far though it does seem to be a little too luck based. If you can't find the right upgrades in the first two systems you might as well restart cause you'll never catch up.

Just looked on my steam and ive currently put 46 hours into it :eek: still haven't unlocked the mantis ship or the rock cruiser yet :( easily the best money i have put towards a game ever.
 
there was another write up in pc gamer about FTL this month, sounded amazing! proper classic star trek action. i couldn't see it on steam or gog though when i looked a couple of days ago. will deffo keep an eye out.
 
Everyone who bought the game via kickstarter should have received their steam key today, ahead of the full release on the 14th :D
 
So what do people think about this?

I think I might pick it up on Steam at some point, so long as the price isn't too high

Amazing game, I cant get enough of it, good senarios and fantastic gameplay, you might possible see my name in it as well ;)

I don't have time to play it atm anyhow so I'll just wait for the official release.

It's an awesome game. Really nice combination of turned based stuff and real time....and the exploration/rogue-like elements work really well.
 
After getting my key early for backing them I am so pleased I did.

really love this game... even if I do die suddenly :)

hate boarding parties!
