A very simplistic view there. People work where they can get to reasonably. If you live in a rural location that means you can get a job anywhere you like... if you can drive your car. If you rely on public transport then you better hope the local shop has some part time hours going.blame the petrol stations for letting people fill up their boots illegally.
people claiming they can't get in to work because of no fuel should be sacked get a buses, trains and taxis like other people have too.
lol @ the people on twitface saying they can't get to work because they have no fuel, what do they think people who don't own cars do, spend hours travelling on public transport.
Taxi drivers are just as impacted as everyone else (the minority of full EV taxi's aside) and the cost is ridiculous if you get them beyond the reach of teh city because they know they've probably got an empty trip back to pick up their next fare.
