Fuel up/down again

Figured I'd post in this thread, but I have been driving to Leicester a lot to see my 'girlfriend' and noted the fuel there is <129p a litre whereas in my hometown of MK it is more like >135p!!

I will be filling up there more often from now! Why such large difference?

No idea but asda is/was 131.7 iirc about 2 hours ago

If they do have such a policy, they don't apply it in Watford. At the Dome Roundabout there is an Asda, a Sainsburys and a Shell petrol station and the Shell has been consistently 1-2p a litre more than Asda and Sainsburys for as long as I can remember.
At least you have a Shell near you. Here we have BP stations wanting 5pm more and the SUL price will make your eyes water. Thankfully Tesco 99 is a good price.

Just back from France and the stations on the peages they were wanting 1.69 - 1.75 euro per litre for 95 unleaded, cheapest we found was 1.59 epl in one of the inner town self service jobbers, what surprised me was diesel is still 10c cheaper that petrol per litre.

In fact France in general is now a bleedin expensive place to go.

Slightly annoying but my local shell dropped it's regular 95 unleaded by 3p a litre down to 129.9 but V-Power only dropped a penny from 138.9 to 137.9 :(

That sucks :( its annoying they charge such a premium for an extra couple of octane in the first place, glad I don't have to use super any more.

Nice, I noticed the Shell at the top of the hill near OcUK was 127.9. That has been the cheapest I've seen from a branded gas station.

Off Top: Nath, that PC in the shop near the door with the camo decor, is immense. Do Want.
