So, Before I had just a loop for the cpu and now I've gone full loop the GPU will normally sit at 46c under load where is the CPU went from 22 idle to 40 idle?? Why the huge jump in temps, I have two twin rads and ones a duel thickness.

Shouldn't the temp lower more rather than jump higher? The cpu wont even run prime without touching 90c! Which I then stop because screw going higher :( Its rather disappointing

CPU block is fine, Re-seated it like 4 times with the same problems :(

The GPU is a 780TI, Now running insanely cool.

Waterflow is fine, No kinks etc.

Would crappy fans on the rad cause these heat issues? Am running case fans on a rad for now until my SPs come through the post?

Sounds like either a bad mount on the CPU or an air bubble. Have you rocked/bled the loop properly? A bad mount is probably unlikely since you've reseated a few times. Is the CPU delidded?

Ill try remounting it again i guess. No delid its a devils gen not a fan of doing that to such a new cpu...

Ill try more rocking i guess as well

Could possibly be a blockage in the CPU block, I would take it apart and clean the little fins over the core area, some crap from a rad may of lodged itself in there causing a bypass to the crucial part, certainly would explain the high temps

How do you take it apart? Just the bolt bits ontop?

Also is it worth delidding this cpu? Am now very tempted to remove the head and replace the paste with some liquid metal stuff ijln a bid to drop the temps even lower.

Pump is set to speed 5 or at least i think it is. Its the fastest the d5 can go. I thought it was the best pump money could buy :(

Fan problems would at best cause 10-15 degrees as even the worst fans still move air. (having them run too slow is far worse than them being low pressure) Settings on the D5 don't seem to make much difference to temperatures either. In any case fans, flow and air trapped in a radiator would affect the temperatures of both components. Air trapped in the cpu block would be likely to cause problems. Back when i ran limited rad space, I only had problems with temperatures when stressing both components, if the cpu can't handle prime whilst the gpu is idle, something is definitely wrong.

What load temperatures do you get on the gpu whilst gaming vs the cpu? (you said 65 on the cpu whilst playing world of tanks)

The GPU will never hit 50c underload. It will normally sit at 46c compared to 80c stock fans and stock cooler.

Real temp will be more believable, if your room is at 20c then the minimum water temp would be 25c if all was balanced and sized ok.

But, Saying I've seen the temps drop as low as 18c on realtemp before during idle. So its got me wondering now if realtemp is off reading.

Is there any other temp programs?
