Yes. Fury pro was a good upgrade from the 7970. I'm not dwelling on not having chosen anything else as the card fits my needs and my system now finely balanced.

Went from a 7870 to a Fury X back in october and I couldn't be happier!
My PC's last me, in general, 3-4 years and this duration will only get larger as Intel's CPU updates get more and more incremental.
The only thing I would probably upgrade in the next 4-5 years will be the SSD's and maybe the Fury if we see another leap in performance like the one I got from that upgrade.
Would I buy one now? Probably not, it's just getting a bit too close to the release of new architectures.
but as they are they've lost a sale there.
I bet they're crying into their beer reading that
If everyone were as smart as Blackjack - they would be. Luckily for them, there's plenty of... I won't say dumb people (but there is those as well), but people who are too.. dunno how to describe it... lazy to care?
Look for weaknesses that present opportunities. “It’s important to understand your rival’s weak spots and strategy,” says Will Ethridge, Pearson Education’s former CEO. “I knew one rival whose CEO was focused on driving profitability and bringing up margins. I knew that meant he would be relatively focused on short-term results while mostly ignoring product development. I also realized he would go after our top sales people to meet those short-term sales goals. So we worked extra hard to protect our key sales people. At the same time, we continued to invest in long-term product development and overseas markets, knowing it was unlikely he could follow us in the short term.”
It is as fast or close to the 980 Ti.
I voted yes.
Simply there is no card can beat the nano at its size and recent price drop is the nail in the coffin for me.
Hence why I bought one today. Upgrade from a 560ti so I'll certainly be happy with the difference
Fury X and P are fantastic cards and a very big upgrade from a 560ti.
When it came out, it was placed around the 980s performance on here, so id be very surprised if AMD have managed to lever that much more performance out of it in a couple of drivers, to now have it matching/beating the Ti/TX, as Nvidia couldn't boost their 980 with that much more performance through a couple of drivers, they had to release 2 more cards.
Looking forward to cranking up GTA 5 and installing some of those ENB's in Skyrim.
Which drivers should I be looking to download?
Actually they did:
At 1440P they have caught up to the 980 Ti:
At 4K they have surpassed the 980 Ti:
No they have not lol.
Overclock a 980 Ti and a Fury X, the AMD card gets beat by a healthy margin at any resolution.
The Fury X is a very good card and excellent bang for buck but it is not as quick as a GTX 980 Ti.
I know people who actually work for AMD who don't make some of the silly claims you do.
Why must everything be about overclocking to the max. The cards, out the box, perform just as good as a 980ti. I don't get why your fighting him on that.
