FX60 has sneaked in, look at the lovely price.....

*cough* *spuuuuuurrrrrrlllllllllllttttttt*

/me dies

Jesus, thats expensive, but not a massive shock.

FX60 Vs FX57 benchmarks needed....

Anyone have an idea when they're out as it only says pre-order?

It's a hell of a lot of money for a processor but when you compare the price to the FX57 it actually aint bad - not that I can afford either I might add, lol.

Matt

Is that it, i think i will have a couple, anyone else like one while i am spending my pocket money?

I WISH!!

Well that definately aint for the faint hearted, i would hate to fry that by overclocking :D

I'm still thinking a opty 165 is a better idea, overclocking potential depandant of course. But my system running a opty 146 at 300htt already should see 2.7Ghz out of the opty 165 which is already 100Mhz faster than the FX60 and £600 exactly less!

I wonder if I could afford that on my student loan.

Still, when multithreaded apps become more common, I can see that making some killer benchmarks.

I suggest people wait till theyre actually hitting retail channels 100%. Then we will see how they clock and they should drop to the same price as the fx57 currently is as AMD always has their top fx processor at same price grade.

^^ It's because of the yields of Toledo cores being able to hit 2.6Ghz stock volts I believe.
