My overclocked GX2 pulls 10,500 conroe@ 3.6ghz

The two 7900 GTX's I tried in Sli running at stock pulled 11,900

so depending on how these clock they are not that fantastic I suppose.

Good job I have the setup program as I would not buy one of these outright.

Although I guess if you take money out of the conversation you're comparing two card SLi solutions with a single one. Be interesting (to be fair) to compare two 8800s in SLi so it's like for like.

Mind you, the credit card bill allowing you to actually do that could make you cry

Not sure about that, I don't think my task manager has ever shown over 1.5GB usage and that's Battlefield 2 with the high textures setting.
