Sent my one back to Amazon in the end and ordered the Classic from Philips, ordered 11.44am (email confirmation)

Jesus wept :(

Tried to order a few times at work, error, error, error with and without discount code!
Thought I'd order when I got home... OOS

Joy :(

LAd at work got a classic but my order is nowhere to be found :( Have emailed phillips but not crossing my fingers. Hope you guys get yours :)

Must have been drunk last night, woke up to an email confirmation that I bought a coffee machine!

Assuming they send it this will be the first coffee machine that I've owned, what do I need to go with it?

What do you mean you wish it did filter coffee? I'm a coffee noob in terms of making it, but I like drinking it so am looking to get a proper machine for Christmas.

Espresso is made from very finely ground beans. Filter coffee is made from more coarsely ground beans. I'm not a big fan of Americano, but I do like filter coffee as it's less harsh/bitter. I'm using a cafetiere at the moment but the results are quite poor :(

Gaggia Baby can be had for £99 now, it has the same insides as the classic but with a plastic body. Just bought one for my GF :D

Can't link the site but you'll find it no probs.

I recommend anyone still looking for one of these to keep an eye on Amazon, they've been slowly coming down in price over the last few months from

199 to 179 now currently sitting at 164, they have been seen though for 149 on amazon in the past so could keep going down.

They also have refurbs but i don't think i would bother because of the warranty
