He might have 2 consoles, with one of them not being able to connect to Live (for whatever reason ;))

The top ten is full of fail!! :D
No mention of the Atari 2600, probably the most important console in history, i think it was the start of the "console generations" Atari in the early 80's was synonymous with the console industry much like Nintendo and Sony are/have been.
The 360 does not belong in even in the top 5 consoles ever, I would put the atari 2600 in the top 5 along with the SNES, PS2, PS1 and Dreamcast, but would not be able to pick a number 1. I think maybe the Wii deserves a place in the top (possibly replacing the GC) as i believe that it has changed many peoples opinion on gaming and hopefully lead them into playing more games than Wii sports.
I think its too early for the PS3 or the 360 to be in that list, they just dont have a catalog of games to even come close to the snes or the PS2, yeah they have some good and a few great games but in no way close the huge amount of AAA and classic games on the PS2 or the Snes.
 
So because a website prints off a list (which is total ********) we're all expected to take it for gospel? 360 the greatest of all time...I dont think so. That list has missed of some much better and more significant consoles.

I agree with the above whole heartedly, I was going to big-up the 2600 myself, sometimes I think people forget how important that machine was in helping to kick start the whole console gaming revolution and for it not even to be in the top ten is ridiculous, choosing a console to be in the top 5 isn't just about the games catalogue, that's just part of it, how the console changed the industry ?, what knew innovations did it bring to the table ?, the quality of the hardware ?, just to name a few other factors, neither the 360 nor the PS3 deserve a place in that list, the Wii yes, the simple fact of how it's helped change public opinion on gaming from a past time that belongs to the confines of a boy's bedroom to a form of entertainment that can be fun for all the family, that alone secures the Wii on that list.

What bugs me is how can some1 include this gen when its still pretty early? so 360 is the best after maybe half of its life. So is it gonna be godlike by the end or what if its already number 1
 
Its all subjective and based on your own experiences with them.

For me the best Console of all time was the Atari VCS which is criminally absent from the list. When it first came out it was a revolution in home gaming, and had some great games as well. Its interesting to debate this kinda stuff but ultimately the Top 10 has no worth.

Thats true but it also spawned a whole new level of tat games that are rushed to market to make a quick buck, something which the Wii seems to have taken to even greater heights.

My top 5 would be:

1. Dreamcast
2. Xbox 360
3. PS1
4. Spectrum 48k!
5. Gameboy (original)

That's because there isn't any !

It's simply 1 man giving his subjective opinion, as we all have been. Since it is all subjective, my top 5 based on my personal enjoyment out of the machine only would be:

N64
NES (opened me up to console gaming)
Dreamcast
Xbox
PS3 (which i'll add controversially :) )
