Nah it was awful response.Well, it looks like they acknowledge that the stuff brought up by Gamers Nexus is valid given the adjustments to their policies and rules primarly tackle the points raised. The good thing is they are clarifiying previously non-clarified parts (like data is not sold and storage is wiped). The payment/credit checks are also becoming more stringent (again, tackling something Gamers Nexus found that was unsatisfactory because for some reason NZXT waved that through without proper ID supplied by customer). And somet other stuff. Not gone through it all yet, but it looks like they're heading in a better direction with the changes.
- How could you claim the naming thing for instance, they are tabbed on the same product page to flick back and forth, clearly designed to look like you get the same thing. If they wanted Flex to be distinguished it would just be own page with own options.
- The price increase from what people have said was never given ahead of time like in video (looking at people showing on other forums at least in US etc). Also to note the subscription went up twice for Steve alone so they can't both be factual that it was only a law change that caused one price increase when it has been at least twice as shown in video and after the first month, come on now.
- The whole it isn't fixed spec is rubbish at that was never on the site at all and gave specific specs only so that straight up lie
- The excuse about the advertisement is just awful. It never should have been allowed to be published as they would have/should have approved every advert for the program. They pulled them down after being caught out a year later!
- The age thing saying you can't rent if not 18 but giving no security checks means that isn't the case that was happening to date. And it is clearly marketing at a younger audience
- "people enjoyed the service"
- The legal language for the data was we do sell it and we own it, so saying "we wipe it" but it being true, yeah sorry no chance. Just don't trust considering the other lies!
- Didn't cover the magic price increase to cover the "free" $400 bundle for Black Friday which clearly is a lie as they adjusted to make sure you recoup
- Nothing about the bad contract, legal terms etc for trying to even return the produce in original packaging etc

- Oh also if not meant to be same product on two tabs why same performance number graphs and such on every tab etc. That isn't a mistake and one missed, that is also intentional
- As noted in Steves video, what the hell does lifetime warranty mean. It madness as well. It doesn't make sense and clearly copy/paste principles.
- The whole if you don't spot we overchated in 60days when average on law in US at least is 3yrs clearly shows the issue there without needing to say anything more.
