Well, no one else in the world is capable of producing such a beautiful pass. Cesc did all the hard work, Iniesta just tapped it in really.

They love him because Esponyal had a young player who died early in the year, was early 20's I think.

When Iniesta scored the World Cup winning goal (which they no doubt appreciate immensely as well) he lifted his shirt to reveal some writing on his in honor of the young espanyol player.

A barca troll on an arsenal forum tried to scare us with that little statistic. I have to say, despite barca slaughtering everyone, i think we still have a decent chance of getting at least a draw at home. Anything is possible at nou, we COULD win if they have a seemingly rare off day.

True but the Espanyol captain died of a heart attack on the phone to his pregnant girlfriend. Now at every match in the Spanish league they have electrical medical revival kits in case something happens to a player. I believe since this was brought in it saved a player's life (September - October I think).

Yep, De La Red had to retire a few months ago too due to having a dodgy heart. It's a bit of a problem in Spain!

You know it's pretty pathetic what's happened today. Spain rarely gets snow to extreme depths, but has coped with it very well. Germany and France having continental weather systems get more, but by and large their football's gone ahead.

One bit of snow and we all clear the shelves of bread and milk!
