Games that have disappeared into oblivion, what would you like to see make a come back?

I know what you mean. Used to love getting my base to a state that nothing would get through... building up a huge force then smashing the enemy base to bits.
Yep that's what it was all about. Big skirmish against as many hard AI as you could handle and go for it :)

Mass Effect :O with better mechanics but the style and feel of the original
City of Heroes - never found a better game for team/coop and unbelievably never had a negative encounter with another person in that game
The look and feel of the original Quake and Quake 2
Original Deus Ex - HR was OK even decent in parts but MD I've never gelled with.

Would love to see Commandos reworked.

They were made by people with a real love and passion for what they were doing - sadly something very much missing with modern game development either due to the approach from the publishers who like to play it safe, etc. or from career game developers who are only in it as a job, etc.

Road Rash.

Now don't tell me that the garbage Road Redemption that is on Steam right now is a "spiritual successor" it's garbage.

Road Rash would be perfect for a modern remake so long as they concentrate on the fact it was about illegal street RACING and not people thumping each other whilst happening to be sat upon a motorcycle.

Playing a campaign bin solo or just with a group of friends would be great, or just head online and have all human racers lined up to race and brawl.

I'll second The Darkness and the Vampire games. Surprised to see Remember Me called out, I tried this last year and whilst I do remember quite enjoying it for some reason I abandoned it which isn't like me. Must go back to it then...

I would say for sequels I'd like another Darksiders, Pyschonauts and Beyond Good and Evil but they're all in the pipe line I believe so fingers crossed they get delivered. A follow up to Singularity would be cool. Oh and another Castlevania Lords of Shadow!

Edit: Some more RAGE goodness would also be awesome!

I remember playing this on PS3, and while I enjoyed it I felt it had a lot of wasted potential in the cool memory manipulation mechanic which iirc was used about 3 times even though it was one of the core selling points of the game
