Games you Bought and played Once

Don't think I've ever played TF2 for more than 20 minutes at a time. GTA4 I played for about an hour, I've tried to go back to it multiple times but end up quitting before I get in a car.

none, i'm too careful buying games.

the only game that caught me out was COD MW, but even that i played 3 times :D, i was quite shocked to find out how bad that game was.

I really should finish Fear 2 and Bioshock 2... I got near the end (i think) on Bioshock 2 and never went back to it (probably got distracted by somet else), Fear 2 I can't remember how far I was.

I'll have to start both of them again really... its been too long to simply pick it up and continue where I left off.

I'm afraid I'm another one who never got that far with the X games. When I have some time I'll have another go with Terran Conflict. I imagine once you get into it, you get hooked. Just a matter of getting there :p

I don't think i've ever bought a game and only played it once - with me i've either bought and not got round to playing it yet or i played it for a long time, got distracted, then distracted again (and again) then after 6 months and a number of other games i think about returning but rarely do - not the games fault...

Also don't think i have ever bought a game that i didn't like or was disappointed in, i'm either lucky, pick good games or am indifferent to what the masses think of said game.

BFBC 2.
Dragon Age.
Rift.

Dude surely you meant to post in the "awesome games" thread?

They are 3 of my fav's.

BFBC2 - best FPS out atm.
Dragon Age - best story since kotro
Rift - rookie developer listening to it's playerbase..

If i had to list one it would be mousetrap boardgame, brought that from woolies and it was missing one of the parts, grrr.

Got some more to add to the list -

Crysis
Crysis 2
Just Cause 2
Mass Effect (to be fair I haven't even played this. Just sitting on my hard drive :o )

Dragon Age, wasn't what I was expecting at all.

Metro 2033, pretty, but dull.

Borderlands, actually enjoyed this, but its one of those games I bought right before something else I wanted to play came out, so i've just not got round to going back to it yet. It's a rainy day game :o

Red Alert 3, as above, bought it in a Steam Sale, enjoyed it, but have never gotten around to playing any more of it.

Ghostbusters: The Video Game, got it in a steam sale, wasn't very impressed, so it languishes in the pit of unplayed stuff I got in a sale.

Grand Theft Auto IV, dunno, just never grabbed me and it got shoved to the side for better games.

The newest Wolfenstein. Grabbed it from my nearest Game for 99p because, well... why not for 99p?! Still feels like I paid too much. The mouse responsiveness is horrific. Played it for about 35 mins and never touched it again.

X3 is another one. Didn't make it beyond the first three missions as everything was just so slow. I've since learned that you can speed up the game time, so I'm just waiting until I have the time to really jump into it before I give it another shot.

alpha protocol. After I did the instal my eyes were bleeding from the dire graphics that I could never play games again.

The graphics aren't that bad! (arguably the least of its problems.)

I thought it was a decent game. It has several clear flaws, but I would say I enjoyed more than any other game I completed this year - I guess it is fun being a spy!

tdu2. Drove down one road with g25 wheel, worst driving model ever. Tried changing settings to some reccomended ones, still no better. Uninstalled.

Wish Id pirated it but wanted to play online...
