Games you want to love but just don't get on with.

Bioshock, always exited affter about 20 mins. Just found the whole game boring

Any RTS, i get frustrated far to easily if im not good enough and dont have to time to play enough anymore. Always compare myself to how i played zero hour, easily raked up over 1000 hours playing it

lol it's easy to take SC2 a bit too seriously on the ladder. Massive stressfest if you're not careful.

I generally find playing custom games to just mess around with friends helps in feeling a bit better and enjoying the game more if the ladder's horrible :p

I'm the same, I totally agree.

Oblivion: I taught I would love it- and I enjoy the opening few hours but I found the combat to be extremely dull(possibly spent too much time playing WoW at a advanced level!). I must give it, or Skyrim, another chance as the ability for ones actions to alter the world one plays in is something that I have wanted in a game since I played Zelda/Secret of Mana back in the mid 90's.

Star Wars: The Old Republic

I don't know if it's because I'm a WoW fan and have been for the last 7 years but I just can't get into it.

It's nice and having the story told to you without having to read a lot is a nice change but there's just something that isn't clicking for me. I can't put my finger on it though.

Arma games!!

Have tried hard to get into them but the single player AI sucks and I find it hard to get into the multi

Strategy/Sim games or any pure FPS games. Bioshock and Borderlands made it through because of the RPG elements, but playing COD or BF is the gaming equivalent of reality TV shows. I know of them, I understand they're popular with some people, but I'd rather eat my own excrement than "experience" them myself.

It's Skyrim for me, I just can't convince myself to sit down and play it, I absolutely loved Morrowind and I enjoyed oblivion but thought it could have been a lot better,

With Skyrim it seems like they have fixed most of the problems I had with oblivion and I like the storyline and everything but I just never want to put it on

Stalker- can't get in to it probably because I don't like graphics.

Follout 3- tried 3 times, and 3rd time was about 3h...thn started to play other games and never got back...

Dragon age- same as above...

BF3 - haven't touched it for weeks now as it just doesn't agree with me :(

battlefield takes time i had the same problem with bfbc2 left it for 6 months after first trying they slowly edged my way back in by playing team deathmatch but you really need to be playing with friends for the full effect

I did the same when I first tried it then wasn't going to bother with it again. Then I saw a thread on the complete mod on here and decided to give it another try and its now one of my all time favourite games.

To stop the radiation you need to use anti rad meds or you can also find armour that is rad resistant and also artefacts that give you more rad resistance. Try to stay away from areas of high radiation until you find these. Or it could be that you have no rad resistance and have an artefact that gives off radiation that is causing you to die.

I can see why a lot of people are put off the game at first, but once you get past the first few hours it becomes a lot easier. Probably why it wouldn't have ever worked on console as its not really a game for casual gamers.

Yeah.. I feel like I need to give it another play but so many gamse so little time.

Maybe try paying attention rather than wandering off into nowhere? :p

When playing... "what's over there" "oh... what's that?" RADIATION

Maybe you're right :p

X3. I even watched some tutorial videos, and got to a bit where the guy started mapping out sectors, and speeded up the vid because it took 20 minutes for each one. And I thought to myself, "It's not just me, it IS boring as ****!"

Mess Effect, The Witcher and Dragon Age.

as much as i aknowledge they are great games, i just cant bring myself to complete them no matter how much i have tried. i much prefer the Diablo style RPG, less talk more bashing. :)

I would say most fps games. The time I spend playing them always feels like a bit of a drag compared to playing something else. I have never completed half life 2 or doom 3, which I bought on release. Also crysis 2 I have not played for more than 40min, despite spending about £15 near release.

In contrast I find playing strategy games, e.g total war, civ, anything by paradox much more compelling and can easily lose days to it.

I did enjoy the bfbc2 single player campaign though. Probably brief and varied enough to keep me interested.
