Games you wish they would remake?

Bioforge.
Descent Freespace 2.
Dungeon Master II.
Eye of the beholder.
Tie Fighter.
Freelancer (kind of happening).

MechWarrior 4 + Expansions
Warhammer 3 + Expansions - PLEASE give me another story led Warhammer game that isn't WoW!!

Tie Fighter (I adored fighting corellian corvettes with a single Tie Fighter)
Xwing (B-wings are bestest.)

Echoing what a few have said already, remakes of the old Bullfrog games such as

Populous
Powermonger
Dungeon Keeper
Syndicate

would be awesome, also I believe these games were published by EA back in the day.

Please elaborate...

Freelancer = chris roberts
Star citizen/squadron 42 = chris roberts + 85 million budget (still rising)
Freelancer's original designer Chris Roberts started a crowdfunding campaign in October 2012 to fund a spiritual successor to Freelancer called Star Citizen, which is scheduled to be released in 2016
2016 will probably end up being 2018 though...

Wow, well that's embarassing. I Know of Freelancer and Star Citizen but had no idea they were both by the same guy... derp.

Omikron: The Nomad Soul - completely forgot about that but yeah it would be ace to have an up to date.

Half Life 2: :D

Freespace 2 / Freelancer would agree with - I'd like them in a similar format though.

Actually wouldn't mind a Vietcong remake at this point, that game was brutal and A.I. questionable at times but the tension was like no other creeping through the jungle inch by inch not knowing if you're going to get hit by a tripwire or killed by someone hiding in any of the bushes around you.

Vietcong was hugely underrated IMO. There were some bits that were incredibly difficult, but got to agree the tension while sneaking along wondering where the next ambush was coming from was great.
