Games you're playing, and games...

Jedi Survivor- still feel disconnected from the combat but very much enjoying the movement, Platforming and exploration!

Just completed the Lies of P dlc. Took me a while to get back into the swing of things but again the got reallyiinto it. Just wish there was more of it to be honest, oh and some more weapons.

Next up, probably Death Stranding 2 which will probably confuse the **** out of me.

Death Stranding 2 - here we go, no doubt moments of genius interspersed with moments of tedium on the cards but I'm always along for the ride with Kojima. I find his games usually pretty good albeit a little over the top with too much dialogue.

I have to say the graphics on the first level are damn impressive.

Got bored with GT7 again, so might shelve that for a bit - installed some back catalogue games, the Uncharted series, Beyond Two Souls and Heavy Rain, and Detroit Become Human; might have a dabble with a replay of these... might even have a crack at finishing Death Stranding too

The intrigue of the story and gameplay mechanics me and i caved and have this coming (Hopefully today) so i am looking forward to playing this.

Finally started playing Ghost of Tsushima, it's enjoyable enough and i love the aesthetics but at it's core it still suffers from being a modern open world game.

^ I still have GoT to finish, as I stopped playing around Chapter 2, I believe. Need to restart before GoY releases.

Properly getting into BotW on the S2. Managed to open up two thirds of the map now. Decided to pop up to the mountain and freed the snake, but I clearly need some snow armour of sorts, as I’ve blown through my stock of spicy grub. Really, really enjoying this and have surprised myself managing to plug several hours of play per day.

Well, if I'm being honest first hour or so are pretty boring much like the first game. Lot of cut scenes and heavy dialogue/ tutorials. Stopped when I reached the first big boss fight which was decent and the VR tutorials are fun but if it's anything like the first game it becomes enjoyable once you're able to fabricate vehicles etc.

I'll play some more this weekend , hopefully get some hours in.

Making the most of my PS5 subscription and currently Jedi Survivor is my game, but I have been playing a number of the different LEGO games couch co-op with my wife as well

Not sure what will be next on the list, but I have still got some AC games to play as the last one I finished was Mirage

Decided to start a game from my large unplayed back catalogue last night. Went with AC Odyssey. First one of these longer form AC games I’ve played, still have Valhalla untouched too. I did love the earlier games especially Black Flag. I know it’s early days and the game will open up but I’m not feeling it. Setting is good but feel the graphics look dated, screen is busy with all kinds of bursts and pop ins of icons. I’ve only got three active quests yet finding the menus and all that a bit overwhelming. My horse keeps completely disappearing then magically popping back in, usually in an odd position, when I whistle for it.
Also wearing full Ezio white hooded armour which looks and feels a bit weird and completely out of place, especially in the cut scenes. Everybody is also shouting in the cut scenes too, especially that malaka Markos. I assume it will get better but looking at the map I’m half dreading the standard Ubisoft gameplay loop of go here, reach viewpoint, visit each icon, clear camp, collect stuff, kill target rinse and repeat.

I’m hard to please these days, second game within a couple of weeks I’ve binned off after a few hours. Robocop suffering the same fate. I jumped onto space marine 2 horde DLC instead for the first time and had a blast. Good fun but some limited replay ability I feel. Still look like a noob in my blue armour though :D

Finished Dark Souls 2, having played DS3 and DS1 felt I might aswell complete the trio, absolutely love Souls game the feeling you get when you beat a boss is like no other games can match, the whole game just all feels so rewarding.
