Gaming mice

Dont like the looks of any of them, far too tall (fat) and button placement doesnt look right on any of em for the left side. And over the budget of around 15 quid.

In all honesty you're not going to find a great wireless mouse for £15 unfortunately

Look at a second hand Intellimouse Explorer V3.0 (not the V4)

Well my current wireless mouse was 15 quid and is great other than the fact i mucked the wheel up after loads of drops on the floor lol. I just thought i could get a new mouse with being similar just with better buttons and cooler look perhaps. If i cant find any similar then i guess ill just buy the same mouse again as it really is a great mouse the only thing is the large left side button i dont like and would like a wheel there or 2 seperate small buttons instead of one that is massive and covers the whole top left side.

My mouse is a Trust ami mouse 250sp wireless optical.

Don't buy a G7. Whilst i have no problems with the mouse itself (its great!), the batteries only last a day after a full charge...

You get two batteries, and a charging station, and the battery takes quite literally 3 seconds to change, i have never found this an inconvenience. The only improvement i would make is to have another side button. Apart from that it's the best mouse i've ever owned.

Does anyone know why Logitech have discontinued it?
Also annoying that they haven't filled that gap that it left.

I was looking to buy not too long ago and ran into the same problem. From what I've read the original aquamarine coloured version had an issue with one of the two main buttons and would stop clicking after a while.

Theres a newer black/carbon version out in the US which has apparently fixed this, but I'm not totally sure.

It's a real shame though because it looked like an excellent mouse (apart from the lack of side button). Once you go wireless you can't go back. :D

I had the Lachesis but found it uncomfortable, so bought a G5 the new version and dont like the middle mouse button its harder to press than im use to.

Was looking at the Ideazon Reaper Edge, anyone have one ?

The button placement on the side might be handy.

The new Saitek cyborg mouse is coming out soon, dunno how that will be probably need to try it first.

The 4-way, low profile hat switch sounds cool.

Nope. I wouldn't trade my G9 for anything atm but I think I'd love the way the Edge has it's side buttons. Would be so much easier to press either button. As it is with most mice, I have trouble pressing the further away button.

another vote for the MX518 :)

Awesome mouse - tho I think the biggest difference for me was switching to a steelseries pad, quite the sex :)

Best mouse ever made in my opinion and as already stated you get two batteries for that very reason. Gutted because mine is dying and they wont replace it :(

Interesting, mine died and they handed over a brand new G9 without any question. (fantastic mouse)
